The story

Aldric was the last man in a village the blight had emptied, clinging to dead crops. A hooded stranger showed him the web of destiny and his own dull, frayed thread among countless others. He was meant to lead, to sow hope where despair had taken root. He began clearing the dead fields the next morning, and one by one his neighbors came home.
